As a researcher, trainer, policy analyst, and writer, I support professionals and activists working directly with survivors of gender-based violence to intervene and prevent tech abuse. Part of the original cohort trained by Cindy Southworth, founder of the Safety Net Project, I have been working at the intersection of technology and gender-based violence for twenty years.
I now consult with US-based and international non-governmental organizations to create and implement strategies to counter tech abuse. I also volunteer with international efforts to connect technical resources with community-based support for survivors of tech abuse, and to shift technology design towards greater safety and privacy.
